I've noticed no big difference based on the day of the week, let's say that I get most of my requests on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Friday is almost always very quiet (contrary to what I hear quite often some of my fellow Prozians say I usually don’t receive translation inquiries for work on a Friday). In over 40 years I can’t remember ever receiving a translation request on a Sunday, and I’ve received no more than a handful on a Saturday… | | | Mr. Satan (X) English to Indonesian | Weekday chickens | Sep 24, 2023 |
More or less, in the following order: Friday (always with the words "have a nice weekend!") Thursday ("see? I got it to you before Friday!") Monday (some poor client had to work over the weekend) Tuesday (looks like someone should have but didn't work this weekend) Wednesday ("could you deliver by the end of the week?") I am still failing to see any patterns, except for slow Monday mornings and USUALLY slow Friday afternoons. Also, I think I could count the number of requests I have ever received on weekends on one hand, and I usually don't reply to those before Monday morning anyway.
